The annoyance that is Lannet Technologies
It all started with this e-mail to various of my domains and even on a not publicly known address:

Imteresting to see the CC e-mail addresses and it was a long list of links to their own website and links to other websites claiming they made them.
I decided to have a look at those websites and contact some people about and if they ever even had an experience with lannet technologies.
It turns out that many of those websites are either simple templates or designed by a completely other company, so either lannet is not telling the truth or what they advertise with is very very old and no longer maintained by them.
I decided to check the website of Lannet and contacted some people that were listed on the site under the section "WHAT CLIENT'S SAYS ?" yes says...

to me That have not built the site however they did create a video in flash that I'm not using.
I found they were good to work with but we're not using the video.
Well that seems OK you think,
Turns out that George, the guy that initially contacted me form a g-mail address is not really George but David Rowan a lawyer as you can see here (scroll to the bottom)

I decided to take a look where lannet was located, 3 offices are listed in 3 different countries

You would expect a company that profiles itself as so versatile corporate and world-wide has office buildings and web divisions, however a simple look on google earth reveals the UK and US locations are residential areas with only a phone number, no front desk, no direct email.
After checking out their website I found out that the security on the website was severely lacking, I was able to obtain many zip files from so called client projects a lot of them nothing more but bogus templates but also a few actual done projects that may or not have been their clients.
All of it tho was very basic not custom and all relied on click to go easy setup third party software, many other services such as database, password were exposed, so this company is certainly not a choice for security.
Avoid this company they have no good intentions extremely bad language skills
